Sarah Cargill, MSCP, FNP-BC

Hi everyone! I’m Sarah Cargill, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in Women’s Health Optimization.

At age 21, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Global and Community Health.  I had big ideas about influencing public health through policy and got an internship on Capitol Hill. Cue disillusionment!  I quickly moved into the world of nursing which I absolutely LOVED! Developing trusting relationships with patients and helping them in their most vulnerable moments was very fulfilling.  There is no better team to be a part of than a team of hilarious and caring nurses.

However, I still had this burning desire to help prevent and treat the root cause of disease.  I was tired of slapping band aids on chronic issues that were 100% preventable with knowledge and lifestyle intervention.  I completed my FNP degree and started out as a Primary Care Provider.  I was shocked by my limitations.  Working within the insurance model of care I was forced to provide standardized medicine protocols and could do nothing to optimize my patient’s health.  I could not provide the care I knew people really needed in 15-minute appointments where the goal was quantity over quality.

And so, Lifted Wellness was born!  My mission is to help patients thrive by addressing metabolic dysfunction, optimizing thyroid health, and offering bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

My goal is to empower you with personalized care that supports your unique journey to wellness. From balancing hormones to enhancing overall vitality, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Join me as we explore the path to vibrant health and well-being together. Follow along for valuable tips, insights, and inspiration tailored just for you!

Kristen Wallace, WHNP-BC, CNM

Kristen Wallace is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife. She has experience caring for women in every stage of their journey, from adolescence through and beyond menopause. Kristen had a long and fulfilling career as a hairstylist, but wanted to have a greater impact on women’s lives through their overall health. She earned a degree in Health and Exercise Science, became a certified personal trainer and nutrition counselor, and ultimately graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing from College of Coastal Georgia.  With the ultimate goal of specializing in women’s care, she completed her studies at Georgetown University, earning a Masters in Science.

Kristen has found that working with women in the traditional office and hospital setting a barrier to meaningful change. Time constraints and insurance hurdles in mainstream healthcare can limit a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing. Each woman has a unique life experience- which means each woman deserves a path to health that is also tailored to her individually.

Kristen has been living in Frederick County for nearly thirty years and is raising her family here. She enjoys camping with her husband and three girls as well as baking, gardening, and hiking.

Kaitlyn Lloyd, BSN, RNC-NIC

Certified Neonatal ICU Nurse

Kaitlyn worked the first 9 years of her nursing career in the NICU, where she cared for small and medically fragile newborns, supported lactation and breastfeeding, as well as assisted with the formation of bonds between infants and parents in very challenging circumstances.

Shifting her focus toward wellness and preventative medicine, she has spent the past two years assisting patients with weight loss and disease prevention through lifestyle changes in order to increase their overall quality of life. Though uniquely different, both her time in the NICU and in wellness have been extremely rewarding.
